Why did Jesus make the claim to being greater than Solomon? How can Jesus and Solomon be best understood?
Solomon was well known throughout the world for his profound wisdom,but Christ was his wisdom. Solomon built the temple of God,and Jesus is the temple of God. So in a nutshell Jesus supersedes Solomon by a long shot.
